10% discount for Smart Tag purchases from Feb 1
Samy Vellu is yet again becoming spokesman for Rangkaian Segar. Anyone know how many percent he is getting this time?
According to The Star, 100,000 unit of Smart Tag transponder will be sold with 10% discount and one year free insurance, starting from Feb 1. The purpose? To "encourage" Smart Tag use and "reduce congestion".
The last time they conduct the Smart Tag promotion during the Merdeka celebration, it was sold for RM50. So definitely they can sell it a lot cheaper than RM90 or RM100. Wonder whats holding them up? Waiting for government subsidy probably?
